This month, MIX features Dolby's new San Francisco headquarters, where we talk to Dolby Head Scientist Dr. Poppy Crum and Bug ID (design-build system integrator for the project) founder and CEO Matt Lavine about the details behind Dolby's new future-forward facilities and the company's study in sensory perception and immersive audio.

Our Sound for Picture section features the sounds behind the show CSI with sound designer David Van Slyke. The music of New York City as a character on Comedy Central's Broad City, with music supervisor Matt FX Feldman. Also the music of HBO's Vinyl, with music supervisor Randall Poster and producer/engineer/mixer  Stewart Lerman.

In the Music Section, producer/engineer/guitarist Thomas Brenneck talks about recording Charles Bradley's album, Changes. And this month's Classic Track tells the story behind REO Speedwagon's hit, Roll With the Changes. The Live section features a tour profile on Dweezil Zappa; Grace Potter solo at the 9:30 Club in D.C.; and an All-Access pass to Black Sabbath.
