Chapter 6: Two-notes-per-string Patterns

In this chapter, Jimmy shows you how to take all six of the new seventh-chord arpeggio qualities you’ve learned thus far and expand them into extended “monster runs” that span three octaves, by moving diagonally up and across the fretboard and fingering only two notes per string with frequent position shifts. Different “launching points” are presented, starting on either the root, third, fifth or seventh of any given arpeggio. Also demonstrated are “climbing and tumbling” melodic patterns and an exciting alternate-picking run that ascends the neck on just the top two strings.
